ACCM 2026: Get Ready to Advocate Webinar
In Zoom on April 1, 2026
As part of our Arts, Culture, & Creativity Month webinar series, our Get Ready to Advocate webinar inspired and empowered advocates to take action for the arts.
Advocates discovered how state arts policies for 2026–27 affect your community, learned practical ways to make your voice heard, and gained the confidence to champion arts, culture, and creativity wherever they live. They were also introduced to the Advocate’s Toolkit, a powerful resource designed to help advocates make a real impact in statewide arts advocacy.
This webinar provides an overview of current policy priorities, advocacy strategies, and this year’s state budget and legislative requests. Participants learned how to confidently engage with state legislators during Arts, Culture, and Creativity Month through legislative visits, phone calls, and written outreach.
CA Arts Advocates policy leaders led the session, offering guidance, answering questions, and preparing attendees to take meaningful action in support of state arts policies.
This webinar was designed for arts advocates, organizers, and community members who plan to participate in legislative visits or engage elected officials through calls or letters. Together, we will advocate for sustained investment in creativity to support the health, vitality, and well-being of California communities.
