Alejandro Gutierrez Chavez, is a first-generation Chicano and social entrepreneur currently serving as the Executive Director of Arts Connection - The Arts Council of San Bernardino County. His varied career has seen him taking on roles as diverse as a 6th grade teacher, a Research and Evaluation Analyst at First 5 San Bernardino, and Program Director at El Sol Neighborhood Educational Center.

Recognized as one of the 30 Most Influential Leaders Under 30 in California’s 50th Assembly District, Alejandro is a strong believer in the unifying and transformative power of art. He sees the arts as a powerful medium to bridge cultural and social gaps and amplify diverse voices for systemic change.
