TourWest

TourWest is a competitive grant program, supported by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, that provides subsidies to arts and community organizations for the presentation of touring performers and literary artists within the Creative West region.

About

Launched in 1994 and underwritten by the National Endowment for the Arts, the TourWest program seeks to help nonprofit presenters bring high quality performing artists to underserved communities throughout the region.

The program provides increased touring opportunities throughout the West to a diverse range of performing artists and companies and enhances audience appreciation for and support of performing arts in underserved communities by encouraging meaningful interaction between visiting artists or companies and communities.”

Grant Amount

All grantees will receive the same award amount for 2025–2026. We anticipate the grant amount will be between $2,000 and $3,000, determined based on the number of eligible applicants. (1:1 cash match required)

Funded activities must occur between October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026
