Organizational Status

Your organization is a 501(c)(3) public charity nonprofit organization or federally recognized tribal government. A non-federally recognized tribe is eligible to apply as a 501(c)(3) public charity nonprofit organization.

New to The California Endowment

Your organization has not received funding in the past 15 years (excluding organizations that have received a Board Recommended Grant/Gift).

Annual Operating Budget

Your organization has an annual operating budget of $250,000 or less (does not apply to tribal governments or non-federally recognized tribes).

Mission Alignment

Your organization aligns with The California Endowment’s mission.

Geographic Focus

Your organization is based in and/or serving rural communities in the prioritized counties: Del Norte, Humboldt, Shasta, Tulare, and Imperial.
