The Sacramento City Council and the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors make funds available to the Cultural Arts Awards (CAA) program to support nonprofit arts and cultural organizations. This funding provides general operating support to organizations within Sacramento County who contribute to the cultural vibrancy of our communities.

To be eligible for funding, organizations must meet standards of diversity and equity, artistic and/or cultural contribution, community impact, show sound management, and demonstrate financial and organizational accountability. More information can be found in the guidelines liked below.

Questions and Accommodations

All questions regarding the Cultural Arts Award must be submitted to oaccaagrant@cityofsacramento.org . Questions provided before November 30th, 2024 will be compiled into Frequently Asked Questions resource which will be made available on December 1st, 2024.

If applicants require in-language assistance, materials in large font, or other accommodations, please submit requests in writing to oaccaagrant@cityofsacramento.org.  The City will make reasonable accommodations to provide assistance as practicable.
