In 2026, NBCUniversal Local Impact Grants will award $2.5 million to nonprofit organizations in 11 NBC and Telemundo-owned television station markets. The grant program will provide unrestricted funds to eligible nonprofits with total expenses between $100,000 and $1,000,000.

NBCUniversal Local Impact Grants Categories

Comcast NBCUniversal, NBC and Telemundo-owned television stations will fund organizations that are doing work in three specific areas: Youth Education and Empowerment, Next Generation Storytellers and Community Engagement. These grants are general operating grants, and your application will be reviewed based on your overall work and impact in your local community.

• Youth Education and Empowerment - In-school and community-based programs that equip youth with the tools they need to succeed, including STEM/STEAM education and youth entrepreneurship.
• Next Generation Storytellers - Programs that develop pathways for emerging talent and youth voices to explore careers in communications, arts, news, sports and entertainment.
• Community Engagement - Programs that help foster community unity by enabling individuals to engage with and volunteer in their regions.
