OVERVIEW

Hijas del Campo (HDC) is a Contra Costa County-based nonprofit that helps migrant and seasonal farmworkers and their families improve their daily lives, working conditions, health, and safety. HDC is seeking a Grants Manager to run its grant development and management efforts, helping secure and sustain funding for programs serving the farmworker community.

SCOPE OF THE ROLE

• Grant management: tracking system and calendar, plus narrative and financial reporting
• Grant development: proposals, letters of inquiry, acknowledgement letters, and renewal applications
• Funder, individual donor, and donor-advised fund (DAF) relationships
• Grant budget development and tracking, in coordination with the Executive Director and HDC's financial coordinator
• Fundraising events, year-end appeal, seasonal campaigns, in-kind donation management, and capital campaign development
• Annual impact reporting and organizational development support
