The role of the Creative Ambassadors is to champion the power of creative expression and engage residents in finding their own creative voice. Ambassadors serve a one-year term Jan 1 - Dec 31 during which they produce a creative project that invites active participation from residents and celebrates the diversity of San Jose's cultural communities.

Award Information

Up to three Creative Ambassadors will be selected for the 2026 term. Each Ambassador will receive a stipend of $12,000 to develop and implement an approved creative expression project within the Ambassador’s term.
