Emerging Artist Dance Arts Residency Open Call!

Calling all dance/dance making artists! Arts District Liberty Station is now seeking artists to apply for the Emerging Artist Dance Arts Residency, an 11-month residency with use of a studio within the arts and culture hub at Liberty Station. Those interested are invited to submit applications by Sunday, May 17th at 11:59 PM PST.

OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION

Artists selected for this eleven (11) month residency will have 24/7 access to studio space in the Dorothea Laub Dance Place, a dance ecosystem that includes four professional companies along with other organizations and individual practitioners whose work supports movement-based artists.

Each resident will receive a stipend sum of $3,000 to support the creation and production of work and help cover the costs of other components of the residency.

Up to 4 individuals will be selected for this upcoming residency cohort, thus making the studio a shared space among selected artists.
