Development Manager

Position Description

The Development Manager plays a key role in ensuring the organization's sustainability and impact by managing development operations, systems, and communications. This position oversees donor stewardship, maintains fundraising infrastructure, and ensures that our communications efforts authentically reflect our mission and programs.

Hourly commitment & Location:
Full Time, Hybrid
This is position requires in-office presence (in Boyle Heights, CA) at least 3 days a week, with flexibility to work from home 2 days/week.

• Manage development operations: Maintain donor database, create fundraising materials, and coordinate stewardship efforts
• Support grant management: Collaborate with staff to review proposals and reports, ensure compliance
• Provide strategic support: Help execute fundraising campaigns and support the Executive Director in donor cultivation
• Connect with our mission: Engage with youth to ground fundraising in real program experiences

Desired Qualifications

• 3+ years of nonprofit development, fundraising, or donor relations experience
• Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
• Experience with donor databases and CRM systems
• Commitment to equity, inclusivity, and social justice
• Supervisory or team collaboration experience preferred
