Task 

The Gateway Cities Council of Governments (Gateway Cities COG) is inviting artists, designers, students, and creatives to help design an original logo design that reflects the energy, diversity, creativity, and character of the Southeast Los Angeles region and the communities we serve.  

We are seeking a fresh new logo that is creative, modern, and reflective of the people and communities that make up our region. Designs should move away from the current gray color palette (green is okay). Please see here list of other COG logos for reference: Our Members - California Association of Councils of Governments 

A selection committee made up of Gateway Cities COG representatives and regional artists will review all submissions and select one winning design based on creativity, originality, and how well the logo reflects the Southeast Los Angeles region and Gateway Cities COG’s mission.  

The selected winner will receive a $2,500 prize and must agree to transfer all rights and ownership of the final logo design to Gateway Cities COG for official use.
