The Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency announced the FY 2025 NSGP in the amount of $274,500,000, available nationwide for nonprofits. California’s allocation amount for nonprofit organizations is $26,227,947.

The NSGP is focused on physical/cyber security, and facility/target hardening of nonprofit organizations at risk of a terrorist of other extremist attack. Nonprofit organizations that are eligible under the FY 2025 NSGP are those organizations that are described under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 and exempt from tax under Section 501(a) of such code.

In preparation for the FY 2025 NSGP application submission, Cal OES will be conducting webinars to explain the requirements and application process.
